You are a child of the Universe,

no less than the trees and the stars;

you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you,

no doubt the Universe is unfolding as it should.

Desiderata: Words of Life by Max Ehrmann

You are a child of the Universe and your purpose is to become a mature citizen of the Universe, i.e., an advanced soul who the Creator may use to propagate other parts of the Universe. (To use an analogy … just as a gardener uses the seeds from the best flowers to propagate in other gardens.)

The Meaning of Life

This site is dedicated to helping you understand:

  • Who you are and why you are as you are;

  • Why you are here, i.e. your purpose for being;

  • What you might aspire to; and

  • How you might confidently progress in your journey through this life.

Welcome! There are plenty of ideas to ponder here. Please enjoy your visit and return often - this Site is in its infancy and there’s much more to come.

May the Universe be with you.

You are a unique individual:

Your nature is the result of 3 factors:

  • The DNA you inherited from your parents;

  • The environment you have experienced since birth; and

  • The Galactic Energies you experienced while in your mother's womb, i.e., your prenatal Galactic Energies.

As you read on, you'll see that your parent's nature, and the environment you have experienced since birth, have been influenced by Galactic Energies.

If you have arrived at this site having reviewed your personal Prenatal Profile, you'll have a glimpse of the influence the celestial bodies have had on who you are.

If not, and you were born between 23 October 1980 and 27 January 2002, you might like to check out your personal profile by visiting the Prenatal Profiles page before reading further. (It’s free and does not require your personal or contact details. View on-line and/or print a copy for later reference.)

As you come to understand who you are, and your purpose for being, it is possible to take a completely new perspective of your place in the Universe. You'll begin to understand the meaning of life, particularly the meaning of your life and the journey you're on.

As your understanding grows, you'll begin to see those around you in a new light. You'll also start to see those Galactic Energies that influence the world around you. With this understanding, you can choose to take control of your destiny. It won't happen overnight but, like most things in life, the more effort you apply, the more effective the change.

Most of us need to understand the 'why' before we can embrace the 'how'. This site will help explain the 'why' and help you with the 'how' so that you might confidently progress in your journey, i.e., grow towards reaching your full potential as a child of the Universe.

In Brief

From the moment we are conceived we encounter Galactic Energies. Those energies vary in effect and degree of influence. Some energies are very subtle, others can be very powerful.

There are a number of ways those energies arrive on Earth. They may originate with the Sun or from outside the Solar System from our home galaxy, the Milky Way. Those energies that arrive from the Milky Way also have varying degrees of intensity and influence. When they are from the centre of our galaxy (Constellation Ophiuchus, pronounced "oh-few-kuss"), they are more intense. Those from other areas are less intense.

Also, our Sun, moon and planets can each act as a gravitational lens, focussing and amplifying the Galactic Energies onto Earth. When those objects are aligned, the energies are further amplified.

As we absorb different energies while in our mother's womb, we take on different characteristics in our fundamental nature. Ultimately, all of these energies combine to make us, at least in part, who we really are. That nature can become clearer when you review your Personal Profile. (If you feel your profile does not reflect your nature, maybe ask a trusted friend their opinion. You might be surprised what they reveal.) Just as the Galactic Energies influence our nature, so they influence all on planet Earth. As you read on, you'll see that the same energies influence major world events from pandemics, major wars, droughts, famines, etc as well as periods of prosperity, abundance, spiritual awakenings, etc. They probably even influence bird and animal migrations, butterfly hatchings, etc. (Many farmers believe it's important to plant by the New Moon to get the best harvest.)

Knowing why we are who we are, our reason for being, and understanding the influence of Galactic Energies, it's possible to begin to change our nature and progress toward achieving our full potential as a child of the Universe. We can do this by focussing and amplifying Galactic Energies onto our bodies while meditating. This is best done by timing our mediation to coincide with the alignment of Sun, Moon and planets in the sky, particularly when the Moon is overhead.

To maximise its effectiveness, we must ensure our bodies are only absorbing healthy food, water, air, etc whilst also clearing our bodies of negative energies which we have absorbed, and continue to absorb, from our environment.

Read on to discover more about yourself and the world around you.

Who are you, really?

You are a child of the Universe on a journey through Universal time. You have been on Earth before, and will be again as you progress towards reaching your full potential as a mature citizen of the Universe ... that's your purpose for being - the meaning of life.

Your nature is, in no small part, the result of the influence of Galactic Energies whilst in your mother's womb. Your parents and ancestors were similarly influenced, albeit by different energies, during their prenatal journey.

As you read on, you'll see that the world around you is also influenced by Galactic Energies. This is not a fatalistic view. 'Influence' is not the same as 'control'. We each have a free will and are able to make choices.

One choice will become increasingly clear: Will you strive towards reaching your full potential, or will you simply sleepwalk your way to eternity?

By understanding how Galactic Energies operate, you can begin to focus those energies to bring about positive change.

Galactic Energies

Energy Types and their Influences

Energy Types: We are surrounded by Galactic Energies from different sources, all of which can combine to create different results of varying intensity. It may help to imagine a kaleidoscope of light colours with different levels of brightness, all coming from different directions.

Our sky is made up of many different electromagnetic energies. Light is just one. White light is, itself, made up of different energies, which become visible when we see a rainbow. There are other energies such as gravitational energy waves. Science is still exploring the possibilities.

When we are away from city lights and look into the night sky it is possible to see the Milky Way. What we see with our eyes is but a fraction of the energies being emitted by our galaxy.

Science has also recently discovered that a celestial body can act as a gravitational lens, refracting energies around it in the way a magnifying glass works to focus light onto an object. Whilst science has yet to confirm such gravitational effects on energies passing the Sun, Moon and our planets, it seems logical in the context of the propositions advanced here.

Energy Influences: Astrologers have, for millennia, made a link between the alignment of celestial bodies and the characteristics of people born at associated times. Many people are sceptical about the voracity of astrology, particularly if it has not been possible to confidently make a link between what astrologers say will happen, and what actually appears to happen. This site makes no claims in respect to traditional astrology, be it eastern or western.

There does, however, appear to be a tangible link between the influences arising from celestial alignments, the nature of people and major world events.

Some astrologers have concluded that certain influences may be attributed to different celestial bodies in our Solar System. Here are some:

  • Sun: Creative life force, self-realisation;

  • Moon: Unconscious, intuitive, instinctive;

  • Mercury: Communication, intellect, inquisitive;

  • Venus: Love, money, beauty, relationships;

  • Mars: Energy, action, motivation;

  • Jupiter: Abundance, growth, prosperity, insight;

  • Saturn: Limitation, discipline, structure, boundaries;

  • Uranus: Enlightenment, intuitive, vision, innovation;

  • Neptune: Spiritual enlightenment, psychic, inspiration, intuition;

  • Pluto: Regeneration, transforming, re-setting, rebirth, renewal, spiritual growth.

Just as mixing the colours (yellow mixed with blue gives green), so mixing the energies from different sources gives different results. Similarly, different levels of brightness (intensity) also create different results. The result of mixing different types of energies, with varying levels of intensity, all of which you absorbed while in your mother's womb, have combined to make you who you are.

Your personal Prenatal Profile is an example of these influences.

When different energies arrive at Earth

The links made by early astrologers are based upon what would normally be visible in the sky (if we had a suitable telescope). The concept of the speed of light was not considered. With the benefit of recent scientific discoveries, however, we can apply a much more enlightened approach to the subject.

It is, therefore, possible to generally describe how various types of Galactic Energies arrive on Earth. The Sun and the Universe, of course, bathe Earth with a vast array of energies. There are other influencing energies that may arise as a result of:

  • Alignment of visible bodies;

  • Alignment of visible bodies with visible energies on the Galactic Axis;

  • Alignment of real bodies;

  • Alignment of real bodies with real energies on the Galactic Axis; and

  • Combinations of the above.

Terminology: Outer Planets; Virtual vs Real; Orientation; Galactic Axis; Meridian

From this point forward, the following terminology and descriptions are used:

Outer Planets: Reference will be made to outer and inner planets. The term 'outer planets' refers planets Jupiter to Pluto, i.e. the relatively slower moving planets. Inner planets are the rest.

Virtual vs Real: References to visible outer planets will be designated as 'virtual' (V). Likewise, references to visual energies from outside our Solar System will also be designated 'virtual'. This is because what we see is not actually where we see it. For example, Jupiter may appear overhead when crossing the meridian at our location but, with Earth's rotation and the time that light takes to travel from Jupiter to Earth, the real position of Jupiter in the sky is actually some 10 degrees towards the West. Similarly, if the centre of the Milky Way galaxy (around constellation Ophiuchus) were seen crossing the meridian, its real position in the sky when passing Jupiter would also be 10° West. Thus, reference to a real location will be designated with (R).

If we were to look at the virtual and real positions of the outer planets as at the date of the December 2020 solstice, it would look something like Figure 1.

These are not necessarily easy concepts to grasp initially, but once understood, they open up a new appreciation of the powerful effect that Galactic Energies can have on us and the world around us.

Orientation: The Solar System as seen 'from above' has the following characteristics:

Figure 1 - Virtual and real position of Outer Planets with respect to the Sun, December 2020.

  • ‘North’ is the direction opposite the centre of the galaxy, sometimes called the anti-centre, i.e. in the direction of constellation Orion. ‘South’ is in the direction of the Sun at the time of the Winter solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, or the Summer solstice in the Southern Hemisphere (this is generally around December 21, when the Sun and the ecliptic plane cross the equatorial plane). South is the direction when the Sun is in the constellation Ophiuchus, at the time of the December solstice.

  • The movement of the Moon and planets is as seen from the Southern Hemisphere, i.e., the Moon and planets move clockwise around the Sun. Using this approach, it is easy to describe the movement of the Moon and planets in the context of a clock face. Likewise, the movements may be positioned in terms of a compass face where North is 0° and South is 180°. 90° is East, where the celestial bodies rise in our sky as Earth also rotates clockwise.

Galactic Axis: This is the line drawn from the centre of the Milky Way galaxy, through Earth, to the other side of the galaxy, i.e., from Ophiuchus to Orion. (Refer Figures 1 and 2.)

[To assist in understanding this configuration, you might like to visit the Planets Today website and, in the panel, set the view for Sol and ‘S’ - the Galactic Axis is an imaginary line from the top of the page (North), through the Sun, to the bottom of the page (South). It may also help to set the date to 21 December 2020.]

Figure 2. Milky Way Galaxy with Solar System and Galactic Axis

Meridian: If you were standing looking at the sky, a meridian is an imaginary line running North-South from where you're standing.

Alignment of visible bodies

If you were to see 2 celestial bodies in the sky in very close proximity (generally within 5° of each other) they'd be close to alignment. The regular term for this is 'the bodies are conjunct'. By way of example: In mid-January 2020 Venus (V) was aligned with Neptune (V). The energy from the Sun was being reflected from both planets, back to Earth. The energy from outside the Solar System was also passing both planets, absorbing frequencies from those planets and blending prior to arriving at Earth. (Planets generate their own frequencies due to many factors including rotating and fluctuating magnetic fields, which produce electromagnetic radiation, and rates of spin with associated gravitational waves.) As the energies passed the planets it is also slightly refracted through the gravitational lens effect.As they arrive at planet Earth, they are mixed and have the potential to influence people on Earth and any unborn babies.

The energy associated with this type of alignment is the least influential because:

  • The transit period, i.e. the amount of time the planets are aligned, is relatively short ... Venus moves reasonably 'quickly' through the sky, along the Ecliptic Plane;

  • The Sun's reflected energy is comparatively small; and

  • The energy that comes from that part of the sky with the lowest energy levels.

Alignment of visible bodies with visible energies on the Galactic Axis

This occurs when there are celestial objects aligned with each other and with the power-band of the Galactic Axis. Under these circumstances, there are higher energy levels being emitted than otherwise. Alignment in the South, or 180° (Ophiuchus), is more influential than alignment in the North, 0° (Orion). This is because the energies from the South are more intense, being the centre of the galaxy, and broader (some 30° in the South versus 20° in the North).

Just as the energies from outside the Solar system blend and are refracted in the example above, so these energies merge and are refracted ... except that the energies are for more intense.

[The most recent example of such an alignment occurred recently when Saturn (V) (the planet of structure, limitation and discipline) and Pluto (V) (the planet of rebirth, regeneration and resetting) were within 5° of each other in mid-January 2020. They were also within the southern power band (Ophiuchus) for an extended period of time as both are outer planets and, therefore, relatively slow moving. This was further amplified and intensified by their alignment with the Sun (our closest source of life energies) and Mercury (the planet of communication) around January 13, 2020. The Sun, being massive and a major energy source in itself, further concentrated and complimented these energies. (Some suggest that the events associated with COVID-19 are related to these alignments. We'll  explore this in more detail in a Blog, later.)

Thus, at that time, Earth was being bathed in enormous energies from the centre of our galaxy, Saturn, Pluto, Mercury and the Sun, albeit that Mercury and the Sun moved on fairly quickly, leaving Saturn/Pluto to continue to influence Earth.]

Alignment of real bodies

Alignment of real bodies occurs when the real positions of planets are aligned. The same influences occur as described above except that, as the energies arrive from an outermost planet(s), they are focussed onto the next planet which further magnifies the energies through gravitational lens effects. Thus you have a compounding of energies. These are not just blended upon arrival on Earth ... they are mixed as they pass the inner planets. If, for example, the real positions of two outer planets are aligned, and the Sun and Moon are also in alignment with these planets, the energies are further intensified.

Why are you here?  (What's the meaning of life?)

Who are you and what's the meaning of life?

These questions have been asked by most people at some stage of their life. Here is one answer you might like to consider:

flower-garden

Imagine a gardener wanting to cultivate the perfect flower in his or her garden. As different flowers grow, they are progressively cross-pollinated to combine their characteristics to produce new seeds and, hopefully improved flowers. Once the gardener has what might be considered the 'perfect' flower, the seeds are sown to produce a perfect flower garden.

If we take this analogy, and apply it to ourselves, we might think of the Creator as the gardener, the Universe as the garden, and ourselves as the seeds which ultimately die, are re-born, and grow into flowers. Thus, our purpose is to grow, over many lifetimes, towards reaching our full potential, i.e., a mature citizen of the Universe. Once we have reached a certain stage in our growth, the Creator might use us to populate other parts of the Universe. (It is impossible to count the number of galaxies in the Universe. Some suggest there are innumerable universes.)

If we embrace this concept, we can begin the comprehend the importance of making every effort to grow towards that end.

(To get some further insights into our past, present and future lives, you might like to read a couple of books written by Michael Newton, particularly Journey of Souls; and Destiny of Souls. (https://www.newtoninstitute.org/books/))

As you begin to understand who you are and your reason for being here, you will start to see those around you in a different light. They, too, are children of the Universe on a journey. Their nature has also been influenced by Galactic Energies, including the environment they experienced since birth.

What might you aspire to?

We all come from different backgrounds, with different experiences, and with different understandings of what the perfect citizen of the Universe might look like. Regardless, most would ascribe some basic attributes to the perfect citizen: loving; peaceful; kind; generous; patient; courageous; honest; wise; balanced; spiritual; harmonious; etc.

Ultimately, you can form your own opinion of 'what good looks like'. If you decide to embark upon a journey of growth, you may choose to ask the Universe to reveal to you what you might aspire to and those areas that you might prioritise. (Just throw the question out there, either think the question or ask out loud. Then listen and observe to see if you get an answer. If not, try again. An answer will arrive.)

If you choose to do nothing, you can be pretty confident of the outcome.

How can you move forward with confidence?

The first step is simple ... make a decision to move forward.

How to move forward is less simple. Plus, it takes time and effort.

In all that you choose to do, however, do purposefully. Take time to progressively move forward, one day at a time ... it's not a race. Don't overdo it. If you try to move too fast, you may become frustrated and give up. Alternatively, you might become sick, injure yourself or alienate those around you.

You’ll find some suggestions in the Grow pages which include these topics:

Detox:

We all carry negative energies. Some are ingested, i.e., food, water and air. Some are the result of our environment, e.g., electromagnetic radiation, heavy metals from amalgams, pollution, surface and air-borne toxins absorbed through our skin, etc. Many are self inflicted, being negative energies associated with anger, frustration, hate, etc.

While some detoxing is possible in the short term, it is generally a long term process. Some negative energies may be inherited at birth. Others are accumulated over a life-time. To move forward, however, you must take the first steps.

Healthy habits:

As you detox, it is important to limit your intake of further negative energies. This means reviewing your lifestyle including your intake of foods, water and air.

It is important that you look at your levels of exercise, uptake of natural sunlight, relaxation or 'me time', etc. Likewise, it's important to be mindful of anything that might contribute to your ingestion of negative energies. Where possible, try to stick to organic, preservative-free foods and liquids. Also, be mindful of your environment. Spend more time outdoors with nature, visiting the beach or forest. Limit your time in areas of high electromagnetic radiation, pollution, etc whenever possible.

As you progressively detox, you reduce your load of negative energies. Similarly, as you adopt healthy habits, you will move toward a healthier you, more able to absorb the positive Galactic Energies that we'll consider next. Read on ... this is where it gets interesting!

Absorbing positive Galactic Energies:

The celestial bodies that generate the Galactic Energies are still there and you can harness their energies to assist you on your journey. It's not a complicated process but, like everything good in life, it takes effort.

This process primarily involves synchronising your meditation with the position(s) of the celestial bodies, wherever you are on planet Earth. Just as the Sun is normally hottest when overhead, so also the Galactic Energies are most intensive when overhead. This is because the energies are less refracted by Earth's atmosphere when overhead. By understanding which energies are arriving on Earth, and when, it is possible to synchronise your meditation to maximise your absorption. The use of crystals to store these energies for later use can also be effective.

The processes for maximising your absorption of Galactic Energies are described in the section titled Absorbing Positive Energies.
